- CHRISTINE HESS, CAROL VAN AUSDAL and MARYBETH BURKHOLDER - Vocalist/guitarist fiddler, concertina players from
Heartstrings, an acoustic group that plays Celtic, Appalachian and other ethnic traditional music on a variety of
instruments. These three will be doing some originals and a few covers.
GEORGE BIERI
- A Yellow Springs native and resident with
a long history of acoustic slide performances on Dobro and archtop guitars in traditional blues and delta-style blues.
He performs blues classics from Johnnie Shines, Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Ry Cooder, John Fahey, Tampa Red, and
Black Ace as well as a few originals.Joined by special guests Shakin’ Dave and dynamic hip hop poet John Booth.
DAVID SCHUMACHER - In his own words:
“My family has been in music for generations.
It’s in my blood. When I hear it, I can play it, even though I can’t read a note. I guess I’m really a
story teller who likes to play guitar. I collect songs like some folks collect
stamps. I like the rare ones, the ones that really tell the story about experiences of the heart that resonate with
everyone.”
PAUL’S APARTMENT - This will be
the all-acoustic version. A
microbiologist, construction worker, drummer dude, industrial engineer, psychologist and a snake pudding specialist -
what do you get? A butt kicking', groovin’ Acoustic Rock Bluegrass Jam band? Yeah! Donna Lynn’s harmonious
sultry vocals, Greg Dewey, Brian Kelley, Tim Callahan, Oliver Simons and Neil Thompson.

NATURAL FACTS BLUES BAND - A Yellow Springs based blues band originally formed as the
Winter Street Band over 25 years ago. Whether playing at festivals, clubs, benefits or receptions, the emphasis is
always on dancing and having a good time. Many different musicians have played with the band over the years. Natural
Facts currently includes Russ Shaw, Mark Crockett, Mike Neal, Jimmy McKee & Ann Shaw.
DR. SKILLET - Byron Crews, Carl Schumacher & Donn Steinhilber. This funky little trio from YSO joined forces back in 2000
and has been delighting fans ever since. “The Little Band with a Big Sound" offers up a sweet organic blend of
roots-rock based blues and funky soul grooves. From classic covers to classy originals, these guys will surely make ya
get out on the dance floor and shake your thang. After the release of their debut CD "Ain't No Cure" in 2003, the group
has reunited for their Summer 2004 "Back in the Kitchen Tour". There is a doctor in the house!

bring you some Blues, R&B and Rock with guests STEVE HOLSTER and....
ROTH PATTERSON - a living reflection of The Blues that stems much deeper than the music itself.
A prolific songwriter, musician and blues
historian, Roth has worked with B. B.King, Corey Harris and Guy Davis
TUCKI BAILEY has been featured playing
sax at the Dayton Women in Jazz Fest for the last 19 years. She attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and
received a degree in Jazz at Central State. A composer/musical director for the Y. S. Kid's Playhouse for seven years,
she has also composed, arranged and produced for MUSE, Cincinnati's Women's Choir and has composed for theatre at
Antioch, Wright State and Pittsburgh Univ. She performs here with Francis Wyatt-drums, Carl Schumacher-keys, John
Boerstler-guitar, Tim Eschliman -bass and guests.
