Performers:
GEORGE BIERI - a Yellow Springs native and resident with a long history of acoustic blues performances specializing in slide on Dobro and Epiphone archtop guitars in traditional blues and delta-style blues. He performs blues classics from Johnnie Shines, Robert Johnson, Elmore James, Ry Cooder, John Fahey, Tampa Red, and Black Ace as well as a few originals. This set will have a cameo poetry reading by Bomani Moyenda. (937) 767-1170
DAVID SCHUMACHER - In his own words: "My family has been in music for generations. It's in my blood. When I hear it, I can play it, even though I can't read a note. I guess I'm really a story teller who likes to play guitar. I collect songs like some folks collect stamps. I like the rare ones, the ones that really tell the story about experiences of the heart that resonate with everyone."
POP WAGNER has quite the reputation as a singer, picker, lasso twirler & downright funny guy. He has appeared frequently on NPR's A Prairie Home Companion and for the last quarter century has worked his cowboy magic throughout 44 states and ten countries. His cowboy anthems crackle with the warmth of a prairie campfire and his old time fiddle tunes set toes a-tappin' while he serves up spellbinding rope tricks and tall stories - all with a good dose of friendly humor - popwagner.com - Bookings: (888) 654-6901
5 FOOT SETBACK - A powerful blend of punk & rock music by YS High School students from ages 14 to 16, who have been playing together for 3 years, featuring the heartfelt lyrics and emotional vocals from singer/guitarist Will McCuddy. Will and guitarist Sonny Thomas provide the driving force in their upbeat songs, harmonizing guitar parts against Paia LaPalombara's grinding bass lines and drummer Cooper Fleishman's busy, instrumentally tight drumming. www.5footsetback.com - fivefootmail@yahoo.com
ACHILLES HEEL - A group of young Y. S. residents that formed a very edgy original rock band , when combined produce a pure and explosive brand of ROCK AND ROLL: clutch!, stoner!, metal! With Bill Sykes, Matt Willis, Gregg Pastorele, Toby Acton, and Gabe Stratton.
NERAK ROTH PATTERSON - A living reflection of the blues that stems much deeper than the music itself. As a prolific songwriter and musician, Nerak Roth's songs bear the soul of one who has not only 'lived' the blues, but of one who has studied blues history. He recently palyed with B. B.King and Corey Harris and leaves in July for a European tour with Guy Davis. - www.nrpb.net, NRPB@Music.com
TUCKI BAILEY has been featured playing her sax at the Dayton Women in Jazz Festival for the last 18 years. She attended the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and received a degree in Jazz at Central State University. Tucki has been composer/musical director for the Y. S. Kid's Playhouse for six years and has composed, arranged and produced for MUSE, Cincinnati's Women's Choir and has composed for theatre productions of Antioch Univ., Wright State Univ., Pittsburgh Univ. and many more. tuckib@aol.com - (626)665-3335

Yellow Springs local members are Carol Van Ausdal, MaryBeth Burkholder and Chris Hess. Dottie Palsgrove is from Troy and Sarah Goldstein lives in Centerville. (937) 767-1754 or (937) 335-6118
PAUL'S APARTMENT - A microbiologist, construction worker, drummer dude, industrial engineer, psychologist and a snake pudding specialist - what do you get? A butt kicking', groovin' Acoustic Rock Bluegrass Jam band? Yeah! Donna Lynn's harmonious sultry vocals, Greg Dewey, Brian Kelley, Tim Callahan, Oliver Simons and Neil Thompson. The "epitome of the homegrown jam session"- Impact Weekly - paulsapartment.net

THE REPTILE BROTHERS BAND - 3 wacky guys from Y. S. (Nick & Greg Dewey & Tim Eschliman) formed a rowdy double-drummer rock band with the great guitarist, Vic Smith, on the west coast in the 70s that never played in The Springs! They reassemble with Tucki Bailey, Carl Schumacher and more for some groovin', funky rock and R&B tunes. Sidemen for Country Joe, Marty Balin, Commander Cody & Etta James.
